We are so excited to share the dance floor with everyone Sunday, July 3rd for our First Annual Graduation Ball! "Step Into the Magic" with us for a fine dining experience, award ceremony, and your favorite dancers performing their hearts out on stage.

Step One
Registration is open from February 21st - March 19th!

After completing your 2022 Recital Registration purchase for each participating child, please complete the corresponding Recital Registration Form below no later than March 20th, 2022.


Included in Registration:

  • Commemorative Recital T-Shirt

  • Participation in the Opening Number

  • Full-Color Recital Program

  • Ceremony Souvenir

Please note your Recital Registration does not include any necessary performance costumes or tickets to the performance. Your dancer will need to purchase one (1) performance costume per routine they are signed up for. Performance costumes are ordered by the studio and charged at $85/each. Tickets will be required of each guest (including parents & siblings) wishing to view the performance. Tickets to the Graduation Ball will be sold online beginning May 16th on our website and are tentatively set at $40-60 per ticket. The exact pricing and sales date will be announced at a later date. 

Specific payment amounts are unique to each performer as each may be participating in a different number of routines, and thus have a different expense than another performer. Your total balance will be confirmed with you within one week of registering and your total due must be paid in full to purchase tickets, receive costume(s), and perform in the recital. You may elect to have future payments automatically charged to the account on file on their due dates by confirming so in the Registration Form.

Join us in the studio to learn more about volunteer opportunities and all that it entails!

We Need You

Steppin' Out Ballroom relies on the assistance of dedicated volunteers to provide a high-quality performance experience for you and your child(ren).  Volunteers are needed "Front of House" in the lobby and entrances, as well as "Back of House" assisting dancers and faculty. We encourage every family to volunteer and welcome any contribution you are willing to make!

Don’t worry if you don’t have experience, we’re always willing to train new volunteers!

Front of House

Front of House volunteers may have a limited view of the performance.



Distributes programs, takes/sells tickets, and/or escorts patrons to their seats. 



Sells snacks, dancer-grams, raffle tickets, and merchandise. Must be ok handling money.


Decor and Props

Beautifies the lobby and assists with the delivery of set pieces. 


Back of House

Back of House volunteers will be needed for dress rehearsal and are required to remain backstage for the entire performance. 


Quick Change Assistant

Helps performers with back-to-back dance numbers quickly change costumes in a very short period of time.


Hallway Helper

Ensures all dancers are in line to go on stage. One group should be "in the wings" ready to perform and the next group should be waiting in the hall.


Ladies Aide

Helps watch over/entertain the girls and ensures they are dressed properly for their performance. 


Gentlemen's Wingman

Helps watch over/entertain the boys and ensures they are dressed properly for their performance. 


Behind the Scenes

Behind the Scenes volunteers are needed in the days/weeks prior, but won't work during the performance. 



Creates and/or curates set pieces and props.



Provides packaged foods/beverages for concessions, prizes for the raffle, decorations, and anything else their heart desires.


Costume Assistant

Assists with steaming, altering, rhinestoning, and the distribution of costumes.
